River of Life
Deep among the rocks
Water begins to flow
Trickling into a stream.
Life begins
Mysterious, surprising
Hoping for what lies ahead.
Overcoming crisis and barriers
Continues on without pause
Soul surviving hazards.
Into mighty rushing river
Surging out to tidal estuary
Welcomed by embracing sea.
