Indeed Susan, and that river never ends. I love how it takes back up river, just to bring us down to new courses. I like the effect of this write.

Why thank you, Andrea! I did it in free verse first but was not satisfied with it. Now it seems more okay. :)

Lovely Tanka Susan, not sure you needed the visual to be honest, you captured the elements with , river, dreams, floating drifting, and swept, ...this write is a lot more Vivid imagery wise than the pic, that on reflection detracts from a finer write....Mark

I never looked at it that way... Less is best lots of times, can see I should apply that to this sort of thing too. Thank you!
