River Life In River Line

You and I who have dipped our joint heart In your green tide and have exchanged beats On your boats have left our loads of flirts Do know your tales both dismal and lit Into the boats sails salted struggle Blood sweat and tears for flowers of love On busy banks business and bustle We live and die, you flow on superb Listen to the murmuring guitar Look at the fishermen and women In love-sweat mirth and life in vigour River of life in the spring and rain ____________________________________________ 10/12/2016 Form: River Line :9 syllables in each line Contest Sponsor: Rick Parise
