River
RIVER
Running down from - high levels,
Flowing softly and rhythmically,
Carrying water to the plants and trees,
Streaming with fish - food for needy,
Permitting birds to build homes on bank,
Allowing the animals to drink and bathe
Giving routes for commerce and recreation,
Helping the environment in various ways.
Turning back is not your style,
Assisting the farmers in irrigation,
Providing habitat and food for organisms,
Acting as a drainage channel.
Beautifying the world is your nature ,
Energising power is your hidden talent,
Flooding, whirlpooling are few dangers,
Watching till you reach your destination.
