Risk It All With Three Dice

"RISK IT ALL WITH THREE DICE."

the last of my
Pacificos are gone.
the table stands clear
and the youngest
straightens her hair
in a bathroom
that is only half clean.
universe forbid that
this be taken as a jest.
watch the baby
fight for it's right to crawl
away from it's mother.
I am her joke
with a never-ending
punchline.
I am her couch
full of broken springs.
love...
the only memorable
part, is the beginning.
