Rise Up

They’ve dragged you down
what do you do?
the darkness is deep
but there’s strength in you

You crumble and fall
and still, you will rise
for your light with in
will be their demise

They’ve haunted and taunted
and hoped you would fail
but you’ve already walked
through storms and hail

You think it’s over
can’t take no more
but your warrior spirit
will strengthen your core

You think you are broken
but they have not won
rise up sweet girl
you are far from done.
