Rise and Fall

I felt my heart beat in my chest
I lay in the dewy grass
The wind blows over me from the trees
The trees that jingle with shadowed green
Mist rises over the tree tops
Mist becomes cloud, drifting lightly across the moon
The moon that shines as the mirror of the sun
Behind the moon, the stars off in the distance
A dare curtain of diamond beads shielding the world from the black, blank
Nothing

I lay in the dewy grass, growing damp
Dreaming of reality
Feeling my heart beat
