As a kid, I roamed the vast expanse of the internet Exploring, learning, connecting with others Not realizing the danger lurking in the shadows Of being groomed online by predators in disguise Innocent and naïve, I fell into their trap Their sweet words and promises of friendship and love Leading me down a dark and dangerous path Where trust was shattered and innocence lost I was groomed online, a victim of deception Manipulated and exploited for their own gain But I refuse to let their darkness define me I will not be a silent victim of their crimes, Of their depravity and immorality.
