Rise

Its what we see in others,
That define just who we are,
Even as you have another,
Try to tear your world apart...
But once you stop and notice,
What one says that you are not,
They cannot just simply peg you,
So you fit their twisted slot...
What they see as weakness,
Take and hold it at arms length,
Only then can you release it,
So it grows to be your strength...
And watch them as they stumble,
As they wait for you to fall,
But its their world that crumbles,
While you rise above it all...
Its the lack of introspection,
That they mis-confuse with pride,
Never once in their reflection,
Since it comes from whats inside...
