Rippling Ribbons

Rippling ribbons flutter in the night, cavorting across ebony skies. And undulating waves of color, slip-slide across the blackness of space. Our planet's magnetic fields make the Aurora Borealis, dance. And a symphony of colored lights start their waltz, in abject solitude. A melody of visual notes plays like music, in sync with my soul. And soon, its hypnotic rhythmic hum awakens my imagination. Like the ethereal breath of God the Northen lights are intangible. And my gaze rises to the heavens: lured by their waltz, wrinkling the night sky.
