Drop of dew falling On pond renders ripple rings That radiate out Bobbing a water strider Rocking strider up and down Strider like spider Listens with six feet floating For surface to shake. Like spider waits web to quake To ring alarm vibration. Spider and strider Listening for shakes with feet, One in air rattled, One on pond surface rippled, Both wearing their dancing shoes.
