Ripples In My Mind

Red hair locks and moonlit walks
I stroll through the ripples in my mind
Trying to find what I have left behind
As everything starts to unwind
I find myself all rolled up
Like a ball of twine

Like the stars that shine so bright
All through the night
Won't you guide me as I take flight
So that I can dance with delight
All across the night

As the crescent moon
Reflects across the bay
It's my words I must say
It's so beautiful as night meets the day
When I will open my eyes
Knowing how wonderful and wise
Going through the ripples in my mind

As I unwind like a ball of twine
When the stars light up the night
Oh how this is all so bright
As I want to do it
Night after night
Until the stars fall out of sight
