I think, today, I’ll be a little gold fish,
Swimming around a tank.
I could be as lazy as I ever wanted,
Letting my mind just go blank.
Then tomorrow, when the sun comes up,
I could become a hungry cat,
That feasts on that little fish,
Till I’m fed and full and fat.
Next day, I could be an angry dog,
Seeing the cat as a small buffet,
Then kill the cat in the park,
In a morbid: “dog kills cat” ballet.
The next day I’d return to me,
The Park Ranger in this little town,
And I would push the dog into my van,
Being the one to put him down.
