Rip Betty

We come to you in a time of need
To help us understand the loss of life that was taken away
A heart of gold
With a loving soul that no one could replace.
The smile upon your face will never fade away.
Comfort our tears,
Hold our hands,
Wrap your arms around the suffering
Remind us she is never gone
For now she is our angel looking down.
Spreading her wings and giving them a try
As she protects us through the night.

Hi Cory, how have you been? Touching write this. The value of life and living makes death harder to accept - memories serve to comfort but can never compare to the real thing. You’ve brought it out well. I sure hope to read more of your work. Vicky
