R.I.P.

Echoing through my head rings a somber song
I think of you often
How long has it been ?
Far too long
What happened to my friend ?
What went wrong ?
Did you not cherish life ?
Did your will falter ?
Was your zest for life not strong ?
I place flowers on your final resting place
This is not where you belong
The pain is still fresh
Forever I will mourn
My tears saturate the earth
I miss my buddy sean

I don't know if this is about suicide or just an untimely death of just giving up; but either way the sadness is quite evident in your poem. It's good. Congratulations on this poem being featured.

James, Congratulations on having your insightful poem featured this week. Death is a hurtful blow to friendship, kindship, and loves. There is a song that I love. It's called, "Families Can Be Together Forever" Hey, I found it on UTube. Here's the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6oAWQESObEA Lovingly, DAS-J

I know, words don't seem enough, but they do help! James... I feel bad for you, God Bless you, and may your Guardian Angels work a little harder to help you make it...jim
