Ringing Bells of Love

Ringing Bells of Love
For poetry Soup contest 7-31-15

Red, red roses, adorned with grace,
Smiling poses upon your face.
So let’s romance, it’s not by chance
The bells are ringing, our eyes are beaming,
As we are singing our Love Song today.

We’re delighted, what can we say?
We’re excited in our ballet.
So let’s romance, it’s not by chance
The bells are ringing, our thoughts are dreaming,
While we are singing our Love Song today.

April showers bring us in May,
Lovely flowers along the way.
So let’s romance, it’s not by chance
The bells are ringing, our eyes are gleaming
As we keep singing our Love Song today.

Thank you Robert. I wrote this for my wife many years ago.
