Ring of Fire
The calamities are self absorbed,
the mega boulders crush houses as if
an alien big as a lake
slams his sledge hammer down with one almighty hit,
then watches the boulder float like
balls in a pool
at a children's party,
on top of the debris flow.
And the ring of fire is now awakened like a kundalini force,
a grouchy lion
slanty eyed and disrupted from a nap,
the flashy ring admits it's own resurrection
as the quakes rattle even the tiniest of south sea isles.
before they turn back into their own meaning,
and never look back.
