Rigoletto Tells All
Joyful memories carve
a forever-space in time.
Impermanence clips at our heels
with Luciano and Beverly's last songs.
Complacency gnaws at our life-rope
as wild strawberries
go unnoticed,
until the rope snaps
and we hear the cries of Rigoletto
ringing in our ears.
