Righteous Rain
Gods righteous rain falls from heaven all the way down to hell...doomed and defeated are the devils darkest spells
falling on cellblocks, city streets, and crooked country roads
His righteous rain brings life to the dying and makes love grow
locked in a cell in a prison of pain...looking through a tiny window...eyes and ears strained
righteous rain falls and the bars start to bend
the bricks start to break and i'm free like the wind
standing in His presence getting drenched in His glory...
His righteous rain brings light to the story
marching like a madman on streets not paved with gold...garbage on the ground and graffitti's on the walls
gangsters like ghouls taking lives like candy
subtracting souls...stealing mommies and daddies
with heads of steel and hearts of stone...
His righteous rain sends those hellions home
in nomansland cooking poison and pollution...selling death to the doomed like insanity intrusions
still seen and heard in this silent scenery...where monsters seethe and madmen scream
in a desert of delusions the evil ones fall...
His righteous rain puts an end to it all
Gods righteous rain brings pain to the bad and peace to the good
scorched and seared are devils and demons...like fire to wood
like metal to a magnet and a moth to a flame
cleansed in Gods glory i stay soaked in righteous rain now every single day
