Righteous Bird

I spend my life On my righteous perch Mocking you Like a mocking bird Do as I say Not as I do What's good for me Is not for you What I find out I sing out loud Telling those Up and down What they should say What they should do How to behave What circles to move I consider myself A righteous bird From head to feet In deed and word What's good for the gander Is not for the goose When all that really matters Is my version of truth

Sharp pen Mike. Never thought I'd meet a bird I didn't like, but this one...

Mike, As usual, I like what you have written here. That last line, "My version of the truth" Great oxymoron! There is but only one version of the "truth".

Right to the point Mike, how some can behave in such a way.
