Ride, Ride, Ride
I want to ride, ride, ride,
Far away where I can hide,
From all the maladies of this world,
And see its awesome beauty unfurl.
To ride above the purple rolls
Of sunset clouds and coral folds,
And lavender shadows of sandy hills,
Never mind cool breezes of nighttime chills.
I want to ride, ride, ride,
Back to childhood innocence slide,
Kicking in waves at the edge of the sea,
Imagining hyacinths and flowering trees.
Dreaming of the boy next door,
The one with freckles I just adored,
When the world was growing better, it seemed to me,
Its future filled with love and nobility.
I want to ride, ride, ride
