Write Nine Beautiful Lines (with a twist) Poetry Contest Constance La France Sometimes, a mismatch leads to a happy life missed By Author We crossed the illusion of marriage hand in hand To his father’s tune and marching band He opened the doors and curtains to our life And was beaming proud of his son and wife The dad presented and gifted our beloved trail With riches that go beyond the grandest scale Yet, with all the dad's helping hand and sincerity Our marriage was two faced with disparity Why was there a facade with all his prosperity

Wow, great exploration of the perfect life with a white picket fence. No one can but a couple love. The work they must do is theirs alone and truly not everyone lives happily ever after. Well done! Congrats!

To quote an old Beatles song, "Money can't buy me love." I guess this was learned the hard way

One only sees the light after the darkness. In this case, the son was a spoiled brat that looked upon his wife as being his servant. No thanks.
