Richard Davies

Having changed from wheelchair rugby,
To para-shooting, a sport of accuracy,
Richard continued on at this difficulty,
Dedicated, steadfast and determinedly.

It began in 2008 and he made London,
Which uncovered the set Paralympian,
As just the same as any other person,
And yet different in ability and ambition.

He’s the British champion four times,
In the R4 10m air rifle standing lines,
Of the mixed SH2 class which assigns,
Both male and female as in firm aligns.

Born on the 10th June in the year 1971,
Richard made the Rio celebrations, fun,
He has three kids and has his recreation,
In travel, fishing and in the buggy run.
