Ribbon Motif

My meditating, closed
eyes seek guidance
in ribbon motif.

Exquisite, purposeful box,
glossy-silk embossed,
appears in light.
Prayerfully tossed cares
fill its depth.
A soothing lid,
peacefully slid, adheres.

Ribbons in rapture
dance, pleat, weave -
                       bundling box upwards
                                             towards lowering hands …
                                                                     loving, revered hands.
