Notes About The Poem

 

 

Rhododendron

The burst of fuchsia colored flowers, brightens the yard
Having grown over the years, it spreads further now
Big blooms that attract the Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly
They stand out like fireworks on a dark, cloudy day
Stop, look, see them while they last...
It's a show to enlighten even the darkest of days
Then stunning with shine, when the sunlight returns

I think it is unable to be uploaded clearly from my tablet and will need to be done on a computer. It has grown larger over time and this year is bursting with blossoms. Most in the area are light lavender, not the color of this one. I appreciate your kind comment . I hope you have a nice day :)

Rhododendron, ( Rhodon = Pomgranade and Dendron =tree) a Greek word designating the flowers that resemble those of a pomegranate tree. Beautiful writing.
