Rg
You were the frozen stalagmite
Within my chest
Feeding my breast with toxic streams
Of unhappiness
Many wandered into my cave, and
Called you beautiful ...
The waste of rocks, the bleeding
Cancer of the land
You made the hole that sucked
The life blood of rivers
From the potential fertility of plains
You made strong mountains
Porous with your constant seeping
And dripping, and wasting
The calcium milk of my strength
You, my nemesis virulent
My antagonist malevolent
My chameleon serpent
My jealous foe of evil intent
You the spoiler of praise
And the spurious twister of arguments
O the earthquake shifted the land today
This cave is full of light
All your bats have flown to seek another night
