Rewind Focus Blind

For the memories
I carry with me
The visions blurry
The past endured me
I weathered the storm
But I didn’t plan
Now poetry is my forum
To let everyone know
That I never did land
I lost my way to the show
There is no good goings
Greetings just cover up
What I don’t feel like showing
With a half empty cup
Looking for fulfillment
In a never ending search
Where advice is barely lent
Sarcasm remains on its perch
People still stay bent
On holding one back
Still learning how
Not to point the finger
So I don’t fall through the cracks
Just a number as I linger
Or till I find a knack
Either way this life
Needs to give back
