Revolution

It rained yesterday and I held some drops in my tongue It tasted fire, and brimstone. Heaving is burning, flamelessly. I let me ears walk into my heart and heard the gods speaking They said if we know the names of flood We will run and leave our cities to water. They said it's the way to bring heaven Down, and down to earth. They said it will rain a flood again, today Children will convulse, and know That growing into pillars Is another beautiful way to die. They said we will breathe-in cold and become rocks, breaking into pebbles The sky is falling tonight Be sad, for it won't rise again at dawn Leave! Carry your sins and run Or die with life falling off your lips. Michael Ace #magicalpoetry ©ACEworld
