Reversed

Well and yes I was taken with you from the start
Just like a million and one butterflies in my heart
I thought you hung the moon and the stars
I guess we went just a little too far a little too fast
Now I'm just stuck in the past
How I wish I could put it in backwards and be 
Reversed to a time when I was yours and you
Were mine
How I wish I could take it straight back and go
Reversed to when we were lovers and friends
Even if I knew then what I know now I'd still
Do it all over again!
I guess I'm a fool to want to have anything
Else to do with you after the hell you put me
Through but it wasn't always like that and those
Are the memories that plaques my dreams
And that's why I still love you even though 
We came to the end of our road way too soon
It seems but if I could I would...
Put it in backwards and be 
Reversed to a time when I was yours and you
Were mine
How I wish I could take it straight back and go
Reversed to when we were lovers and friends
