Reveries
This night,
You whisper for me in the midst
Though you shed the light of the moon
It is dark in the black waterfall
That you haunt…
That night,
You stood atop the waterfall, naked feet bathing
Fatal tears streaming down your cheeks
The liquid moon calling for your soul
So you jumped
This night,
Your mystic eyes glisten in the twilight
And here tonight, shrouded in the forest
You pull the rhythm from the chorus
Drowning music entirely from your bleeding ears
That night,
Shards of liquid daggers cut through your lungs
Something pulled you from consciousness
And you sank into a cold death
Upon the black water lake
This morning,
Once again within shadows
I lay, broken and breathless
In the mists of a purple morning sky
Poisoned by the nectar of your once blooming love…
