Reverie

Upon that mountain top, I sit
Staring at the magnificent silver
A nightingale on my shoulder
Compassionately singing reveries

Blissful sound of melody
Fantasies of flying high above clouds
Or close to the sea, do you see the vast blue?
Clearly displaying my love for you

Spiral deep into the shiny green
Counting every leaf on the tree
Losing count and recounting mindlessly
Oh how I miss you endlessly

Time ticking by slowly
Within those milliseconds, eyes meet
The sparkle of joy
Heart frozen somewhere in time

The touch of warm rays
Start of a bright day
Path of hope before me
Here starts a new journey

Very descriptive and differently put together lost love. Keep writing. Sara
