Reverence

Sometimes life seems so cruel, it turns so pale Everything just crumbles in a gusty gale All colors seem present here, glorious, and vibrant Yet, I feel empty, deep down poignant You will hold my hands no more I never see you smile again That touching thought nails my heart With arrows of pain I close my eyes, memories roll down Droplets of tears turn into pearls on God’s crown I hope to see you brother on the other side Under the full moon, perhaps we go for a joyride Now I bid farewell brother, say goodbye Your sister’s reverence painted in wailing dye
