Reverberates

Hatred and anger blazing,
first from thoughts,
then ungodly actions.
Reverberates in homes,
schools, on roads,
and in other places.
The children exposed,
helpless.
Don’t let it back in as
it echoes thunder in
the walls,
let God’s peace in
for all seasons. ~

so many destructive words and emotions in the world...it's as if someone flung open the box of hatred. Nicely done, Regina. hugs, Sara

Dear Gina, Oh, how destructive emotions ripple outward, touching places that should feel safe. I think it feels less like a reflection and more like a warning bell, sharp and insistent, asking to notice what we allow to reverberate through our lives. Amen, always excellent! Amen. The last thing children --- or anyone else --- needs are histrionics. Here's to attention, love, and discipline. ~ Gershon
