Revenue of Grief

Flowers bloom to the fullest, Garden of colours and aroma; Fresh turf covering at full stretch, A pleasant place for my mama. A heart that lacks blooming, like mine, Colours shall fade and perfumes evaporated; Like dried and wasted grass, that’s how I feel, Mama’s death came and it wasn’t anticipated. Clear sky overpowered by the blazing sun, No clouds to dampen the beautiful day; A flock of birds happily racing each other, Children enjoying a recreational play. The blazing sun hurting my tired head, Wishing for some rain clouds to appear; Like the birds in a cage, I feel frustrated, My recreational time fills me with dark fear. The calming sea welcoming swimmers, Speedboats abusing its power of speed; Surfers annoyed at the lack of waves, Topless sunbathers are carefree indeed. In life, I swim in an ocean of sorrows, Like boats in a storm I roll out of control; Annoying is the lack of love in my heart, A body without substance and without the soul.
