Revenge Part 4

Prince William arose with quite the shock
to the sound of someone picking his bedroom lock.
“Who is there? I must know” as he watches the door
slam open like waves on the shore.
But to his surprise, he would never guess
it would be Emma Lee in an elegant dress.
Looking up at her a confused look on his face,
“What brings you here? At this time? And this place?”

“Your future bride is here with something to say.
So go and lay back for this you must pay.
Because of you I lost my love
yet this revenge will not be enough
To settle the pain I feel inside.
But to ease the pain you and I must collide.”
As she draws his own sword her hair turns jet black
then she jumps on the bed to start this life ending attack.

As he gargles on blood he tries hard to speak
but lying there dying, his voice is so weak.
“Emma, I want you to know that I hard no part
in killing your man for his soul to depart.
I tried to tell your father the wedding was through,
I'm in love with a slave girl so much better than you.
But now this is done and I must die.
Please tell slave Elizabeth I love her, and goodbye”

As Emma looks down at all the blood spilled
no feeling of remorse, nor hint of guilt.
As she looks in the corner to see a young slave girl
looking so scared but trying to be brave.
Emma walks over and gets on one knee
“That was a sight you need not see.
Do not be afraid and forget this day,
though his love for you was his last thing to say.”

Emma knows that she must move fast
for the secret of Wills death is sure not to last.
As she circles the palace looking for the thrown room
ready to kill him for taking her groom.
When Emma starts to notice there is not a soul in sight,
outside not even soldiers learning to fight.
She steps this steady caution and opens the door
to find the king, the guards, the slaves and more, dead on the floor.

She stops to look around
confused on what shes found.
“How can this be?
Someone killing him before me?
Now what of my revenge?
Left as unfinished as stone henge.”
When Emma left a sharp pain in her back
she turned to see the slave, red skin and hair jet black.

“A young slave girl is here to say
Emma Lee its time to pay.
Because of you I lost my love
yet this revenge will not be enough
to settle the pain I feel inside
crushing me like a rising tide.
It did not take long to think of a plan
with the help of a spell I did what I can.
