Revelation

Each day, killed by waiting, is almost an age, Each tear's a shard of the dream that is shattered, Each step that I take is a part on the stage, Each string of my heart is now torn... Does it matter? I wish I could only dissolve in my pain, Just make one deep breath, and my life would be over... And no-one would even remember my name... Would anyone mourn me, but this downpour? A thousand places are under one sky, But none of these corners has been my true home. A thousand stars won't replace your blue eyes That once made me think I was never alone. The seventeen stars have for always gone out, The seventeen questions are still left unanswered, The seventeen grieves that my novel's about Are seventeen years of endless disasters. Between me and silence you're only one bound, For you I have lived those seventeen years, For you I'm standing so firm on the ground, For you is this song that you won't even hear...
