Revealing Ruins

Got the feelings while sitting on a ruin,
So much had already been wasted, till;
So little we have in our humble hands
To save this beautiful world from our greed
In these years, we have created a few
Monumental ruins, silicon valleys,
Bleeding rivers and moulded plastic dreams
Illusions, illusions and delusions…
That we have reached the pinnacle, indeed
Evolution is a flowing river
The stream may flow forward or backward, too
Where are we heading towards, in future?
We have dug out the long-buried Saturn
To fuel our fast-growing desires and dooms
Tombs of human - who used to love this earth
Stand still in awkward silence – silhouettes
And I have nothing but my vowelled scream
If it reaches your deafened ears, someday
I hope, you would stop awhile to listen
And think about turning around this world
