Reunion

As I put on my socks
I remembered my school shoes
As I put on my jeans
I remembered my school uniform
As I went to my school
Which I left 25 years ago

As I took the steps of the school
The nervousness, excitement
All seemed the same
Looking around for friends
How they may be
Careful about my bully friends
Wishing all to be the same

The teachers were new
The children were naughty as ever
Felt like a student
Met many old and special friends
Also some new friends
Who made my day special

As we sat in the classroom
The same noise of laughter
Seemed we all were the same
Indeed a reunion
Ain't it took us back to childhood
