Reunion

Take this simple word, unpick its depth
Simple to say it falls from lips, yet means so much
To be returned, re-joined, found, united, whole
Many words define the action, a surface of names
Whilst underneath comes what is inside
Relief, joy, complete, warmth, we hug, we kiss, we cry
Shout, declare, proclaim, display, we touch
These moments these movements, show all around
A special time, a moving scene
Sharing our reunion

What a lovely picture of a reunion. I rally enjoyed this. It's well-written as well. Thanks for sharing.
