Reunion

With an exchanged greeting we recognize each other by a smile and white robes fluttering, I am rewarded with the sight of your smiling eyes. Traversing life and death more than once under the veil of wind and rain on eight hundred endless roads Hearing of turmoil blowing across the land A gentle breeze caresses my fingertips. There’s no need to yearn for a reunion

Hi, thanks for sharing your thoughts about reunion. God bless you. (Please check the definition of Blank Verse as a form of poetry... Yours is more of a "free verse." According to Poetry Soup's definition, "A blank verse poem is one which does not rhyme. However, it does have iambic pentameter, which refers to a rhythm where you have an unstressed syllable immediately followed by a stressed syllable. So, when you consider blank verse, think of it more as a 'beat', like a heart beat.")
