Reunion
After many a year long juvenile spree,
They detached from the tree.
And fell on the earth to germinate,
To be dispersed as per their fate.
Some grew up like redwood,
Others sustained as they should.
As time seemed to fly,
Like migratory birds in the sky.
After twenty five long years,
They met to say cheers.
At first loosened like hay,
Then they tautly bonded like clay.
They started to dance and play,
And made each other's day.
Sharing sorrow, loss or pain,
So that these might not haunt again.
They gave every honest try,
Not to make the other cry.
Every Johnny, Jack and Jill,
Stood beside his friends' will.
Still if sometimes things go bad,
Need not fret upon nor feel sad.
Sharing their feelings night and day,
They'll stick together come what may....
