Returning Home to the Heavens

Returning Home to the Heavens
Were we once in the heavens before our fall into the empty world,
our souls like eggs carefully tended with love in the divine nest that carries,
then God lifted us and gently lowered us onto the earth that's just a crow,
He gave us life He gave us feet to walk on the wandering road that doesn't yield.
Released to wander to laugh to love and to live in heavy freedom always,
to accept love and return it to give freely without obstacles in the way,
to submit to sin to be stained soiled but then seeking the cross from hardship,
to return to love again and through His grace to praise in the valley.
Saved through blood we shake off the grip of death that holds us tight,
with joy with praise and thanksgiving we sing the hymn to the One who created us,
He lifts us gently and gives us wings to fly toward the home that awaits us in thought,
we return home considered worthy from above carrying our gifts from rains.
Our earthly love earned with difficulty through hard heavy struggles and falls,
the angels who stand before the Mighty One must love through old divine command,
to listen and honor through His commandment without choice from horizons,
but we who have struggled in our free will through the life that separates and binds us.
We held onto love through life and loved Him still through the darkness that falls heavy,
we are valued more by Him because we have conquered in struggle and bitter torment,
cleansed blessed and paid through His only Son who gave Himself in sacrifice always,
the paradox: the fallen are raised higher than those who haven't fallen in grace.
Were we in the heavens once our souls eggs carefully tended with great divine care,
God lowered us to earth gave us life and feet to walk softly,
released to wander to laugh to love to submit to the sin that separates by day,
stained soiled but seeking the cross we return to love again to change ourselves in torment.
Through His grace we praise with our last breath saved through the blood that flows warm,
we shake off the grip of death we sing with joy and He gives us wings to fly high,
we return home worthy from above carrying the gifts of earthly love that's hard,
the angels love by command but we have loved by free choice and love Him still now.
We held onto love through life and through darkness loved Him still always hard,
we are valued more because we have conquered cleansed through His Son who sacrificed Himself,
the supreme paradox, the fallen and raised are higher than those from Heaven who stand,
those who fought in freedom are more precious than those who didn't fight on earth.
Hallelujah we sing the hymn of returning home to the heavens after the hard struggle on cruel earth,
God lifts us gently gives us wings receives us back into the old divine nest,
we were tended eggs we fell we were stained we sought the cross we were cleansed through torment,
we return home carrying the gifts of love earned with difficulty through struggles and wine.
The angels love by command we have loved by free choice in the darkness that falls heavy,
the paradox, those who have fought and suffered are valued more by the One Above,
saved through blood we shake off death we sing with joy He gives us wings to fly softly,
returning home to the heavens after the struggle on earth hallelujah we are cleansed and raised high.
