Return To Sender

Those enemy soldiers, they weren’t too well trained
They weren’t gonna take back the ground that we’d gained
But I thought I’d copped it with no shred of doubt
When that hand grenade landed in my dugout
I’m telling you boys, my resolve didn’t crack
I just pulled the pin out and threw it right back

Of course, you’d recall the original version that would be considered un-woke nowadays, Tom. What a messed up world we’re in. Have a great Christmas. Terry

I'll bet they were sorry they tossed it at you! Terry. Quick thinking saves the day. I probably would have just stopped and stared at it...for a few seconds!

An old joke that was probably better, but not ‘woke’ in its original form. Glad you enjoyed this version, Ilene. Terry
