Return of the Tourists

The Circle Line is chugging by,
The tourists coming back,
Perhaps because the vaccination
Rates are right on track.

Museums have been opening,
The Gardens and the zoos.
The clubs are back in business;
There are many things to choose.

I’m not quite ready to step out
From inside my cocoon,
But as I watch life moving on,
I hope to do so soon.

Before I travel, first I’ll try,
Like tourists on that boat,
To wade into the sea of life
To see if I can float.

Take it one step at a time. "I’m not quite ready to step out From inside my cocoon" You can do it! I have faith!

Aye, the tourists are back, but they are bringing the Delta strain with them, so take care!

Nice one Ilene...the tourist are returning but what about those who fled the city? Love your style, it is always so much fun to read.

Come on, ilene. You can do it! Go, girl! Frankly, I haven't seen a mask in my neighborhood for a week... even the supermarkets are no longer requiring them... Things seem to have finally taken a good turn... :) gw

I think the water's safe. But everyone should swim at their own speed. I have friends who haven't left their house for a year. I've gone out for supper every weekend. Everyone is different. have a great day my friend.
