does the skin I wear define me? peel it back and look in, divinely split open my skin and alter my bones pin me to a cross, place on a crown of thorns let me ask again, does the skin I wear define me? is it simply a cover, or does it speak silently? one may say no, one may say yes but is it the vessel or the soul that we dress?
