Retro

“I’m not old – I’m retro” Says the sign that looks antique. I bought it ‘cause I liked Its sassy message, tongue-in-cheek. But really, who embraces old Or elderly or aged? Why, even senior can be wrong When someone’s years are gauged. So I will stick with retro ‘Cause it sounds so cool and hip. Come join my Retro club – It’s an exclusive membership!

Yes, retro sounds much better, doesn't it? Loved your witty lines, as always, Ilene

These day's men are becoming metrosexuals. I kind of like the idea of becoming a retrosexual. Peace. :)

No one wants to be referred to as old. You are as young as you feel and Retro is amazing....Tim

I recently played a CD in my car while my brother was a passenger. The disc had music from female recording artists during the fifties. Included were songs by the likes of Jo Stafford, the McGuire Sisters, Ella Mae Morse, Eileen Barton, etc. My brother described the music as "hokey". "Retro" can also be called "nostalgia". Good write, Ilene.
