Retirement is Killing Me

I am supposed to enjoy retirement
it is killing me

I no longer have the stress of freeway driving
so I am not intensely enraged two hours a day
that’s better

my life consists of sitting here, there, and over there
my recliner, couch, bed,
If I could I would hop up on that dresser

when it fell over on top of me it might hurt
it might even kill me
but at least I would remember that I am alive
