Retirement Benefits

Can't get to sleep
    Wake up too late
  Afternoon snooze
    Mealtimes confused

  Yet when I get up early
    All day I'm surly
  Overeat, stuff my face
    I'm in a bad place...  

  What? You're jealous of me
    'Cos I sleep 'til 9:33
  And at breakfast I tarry
    Over waffles with blueberries

  Well then! Life's not so bad after all 
    ~ Didn't realize I was having a ball

We can do everything at our own time in a leisurely mood !... Only thing, be conscious of expanding waist line. I can very well relate, Gershon. Beautiful poem

I love to sleep a morning away, particularly if it is dreary and drizzling. L Milton Hankins August 16, 2022 at 7:27 PM I might add that I often don't go to sleep until 1-1:30 a.m. I "love the nightlife," and my mind is more alert after about 11:00 at night.
