Resurrection

Restore to their rightful place those formerly dead things in me that are now alive and well. Enlighten me Jesus, and bring me out of the pits of darkness that had held me captive. Salvation is more than a word for the religiously inclined, but rather, new life in Christ. Unleash me Jesus from the shadows of death, and forever sat me in the sunlight of your love. Remind me, Jesus, each day that while I was yet in sin and shame, you loved me in spite of myself. Revive me Jesus with the measureless power of your love when I am weak, weary, and worn. Engage me Jesus in the work of your kingdom, not allowing me to be indifferent or uncaring. Correct me graciously Jesus, as only you can, and lead me on in your eternal righteousness. Thank you, dear LORD, for your great and magnanimous sacrifice, giving your only son. Inspired by the life you lived and gave for me, I shall, by your loving grace, love you always. Only Christ gives me hope of life beyond the grave because you alone conquered death, hell, and the grave. Now and forevermore, I have peace with God and shall never be accused of sin, because I am forever pardoned. 04052017 PoSoupContest, Rising of The Son,: Chantelle Anne Cooke *A Resurrection Prayer
