Resurrection
Resurrection
By Betty Harp Butler
Roman Soldiers crucified Him-Jesus Christ, the King of Glory.
He died on that old cross to save us from our sins.
O, What a wondrous story!
Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus, who came to Jesus by night,
laid Him in Joseph’s own tomb.
They rolled the great stone in place, on that dark day, Friday afternoon.
On the third day Sunday came, and Jesus arose from the dead!
The Grave could not hold him, and
He came forth as He had said!
“Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” John 2:19 KJV
